TCC Gardens

Designed to inspire, the Japanese Garden brings a sense of tranquility and harmony to the viewer, one is immediately drawn to the breathtaking waterfall, 15 meters high, it cascades over volcanic rock into a Japanese Coy (Carp) filled pond. The surrounding plantings and landscaping are native trees and plants and with the passing of the seasons put on dramatic displays of color and mood.
The Japanese Garden is located next to the practice green and is overlooked by the Clubhouse restaurant.
English Country Garden
This year Tsutsujigaoka enlisted the help o Scottish Garder Nick Lenaghan to design an English country Garden on the course to be enjoyed by Golfers during the round. The style used is quite new to Japan, yet gaining popularity in Europe and America, it’a modern look of combining perennial plants with ornamental grasses which creates a more natural aesthetic with the perennials such as Echinaceas and Monardas mixing with grasses such as Panicum and Miscanthus to create a softer, flowing style. Structure plants such as New Zealand flax and pampas grasses create a rhythm whilst adding a bit of drama to the overall effect. The country garden can be enjoyed on hole 12 next to the Tea house.
